We usually define privacy as some variation of “the right someone has to keep their personal life or personal information secret or known only to chosen people”. And in today’s world, it has become increasingly difficult to maintain our privacy. We sometimes volunteer our personal information for a good or service. Other times, we have little choice. Sometimes we do not know the details of our private lives are no longer private.

So where does our information end up? How does it get there? Who was responsible for it happening? And with this in mind, what can we do to regain control over our privacy? Many privacy guides do already exist, true. We’ll explore many of the same topics as these guides, with a focus on retaining the convenience many families are accustomed to. Stay tuned over the coming weeks!
